The Centre for Environment and Development for the Arab Region and Europe (CEDARE) and The Oceancy International L.L.C. F-Z have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen cooperation in ecosystem restoration and the development of environmental projects.
The MoU provides a framework for collaboration on the development and implementation of ecosystem restoration projects, including agroforestry, mangrove restoration, and coral reef restoration, as well as exploring opportunities related to carbon credits, biodiversity credits, and other environmental assets.
The partnership also covers project development, knowledge exchange, and capacity building, while leveraging the expertise and networks of both parties to support joint initiatives in environmental sustainability.
The MoU was signed by H.E. Dr. Khaled Fahmy, Executive Director of CEDARE and Former Minister of Environment of Egypt, and Mr. Marco Manghisi, CEO and Co-Founder of The Oceancy International.
